Memorial Weekend in Nebraska

May 24th, 2009 Shirley Dillon No comments

We took Grandpa Vic and Grandma Mabel to the cemeteries to decorate the graves of loved ones.  Then on the weekend, we had grandkids around for Ewing’s Summer FunFest.  Will post a few pictures of the activities.

Grandpa Vic’s Garden 2009

Grandpa Vic may be just a couple of months from turning 91, but these pictures don’t make him look like 91.  The plastic rows are all watermelon – plus another row planted just in case those don’t do well.  The plastic wrapped cages are tomatoes.  He is planting sweet corn in these pictures.
